Yukiko Yamashita (born 1972) is an American developmental biologist, and assistant research professor at the Life Sciences Institute, and assistant professor for the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan Medical School.[1] She is a 2011 MacArthur Fellow.[2] She was a 2008 Searle Scholar.[3]
She graduated from Kyoto University with a BS and PhD in Biophysics, and was a post doctoral fellow with Margaret T. Fuller at Stanford University, from 2001 to 2006.[4]
